Thank you so much for allowing me to be involved in such an amazing organization, helping to empower woman on their journey. You know by living as a single parent for many years myself, I understand all the trials and tribulations, have personally healed a great deal and have grown myself by leaps and bounds. It is with this understanding and life experience, as well as education, I draw on to empower and encourage others to reach their potential. I look forward to our continued partnership, and fostering growth and excitement for the future, with those women who come through your doors. I am so thrilled this event generated so much for you. You are so deserving of it, and even more.

Mentoring Single Moms Across Canada
An Interview with Executive Director, BethHudson on Cogeco's FYI Program!
"Beth, I loved the interview. I have been following your group from afar since I met you selling bracelets at the Burlington YMCA. I'm not a single mom, and in fact outside of my sister, I don’t even know any single moms. However I watched my older sister raise 3 boys on her own, they are now 23, 25 and 33 years old. My sister is a remarkable woman to have raised 3 healthy, well rounded and successful young men. Beth you should be so proud of yourself! You are an inspiration to many and you have accomplished so much in such a short amount of time. good for you girl! If I recall correctly, I believe from the Burlington Post, you have daughter. She sure has a great role model in you! Congratulations on everything you have accomplished! After seeing this video, I am anxious to visit your new office. I will introduce myself when I drop in if you are there. Congratulations on your success so far!"

From legal issues, parenting challenges and financial difficulties to career challenges, self-esteem issues, dating confusion and handling emotions, The Single Mom Show discusses issues that relate to single moms today, providing answers, inspiration, humour, compassion and tools.

Are You A Single Dad?
Are you a GTA dad with a point of view?
Are you the best dad you know?
Are you an overwhelmed dad who wants to do better?
A Toronto-based television production company is seeking dynamic dads with a particular outlook on raising kids.
They are developing a documentary series featuring diverse dads from all walks of life. Working dads, stay-at-home dads, weekend dads, ultra-involved dads and ...even dads who feel like they don’t know what they are doing!
The series will represent the ever-evolving roles within modern families and highlight the REAL challenges faced by fathers. Through real life dad stories – and real-life dad humour – the series will confront the commonly held notion that gender is indicative of parenting ability.
To apply or find out more, please reply with a description of yourself, your family, your parenting style, and any other interesting facts that would make you a good candidate.

Reiki is a very gentle and holistic practice that brings balance to the mind, body and spirit. It is non-invasive, non-religious, and deeply relaxing. It is administered to a fully clothed patient laying on a comfortable treatment table or sitting in a chair.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and deep relaxation that also promotes healing. Research has shown that Reiki:
• speeds wound healing time
• lowers blood pressure
• helps manage pain
• complements other health care and medical treatments,
• and there are no side effects
Reiki works on all levels, physical, emotional and spiritual. It benefits and aids healing in virtually all illness and injuries including; headaches, fatigue, deep relaxation, emotional stability easing stress, anxiety and depression, improved sleep, improved mental function, cancer, skin disease, cuts and bruises, broken bones, reduction in pain, improved circulation, improved immune system, ease pregnancy discomfort and more.
Reiki can be practiced on children, adults, and seniors.
Reiki is very relaxing and life changing. I encouraging you to come on out for a complimentary session to receive the benefits and relaxation of Reiki. (for Access and All-Inclusive Card holders) First come, first serve.
